World Menopause Day is held every year on the 18th of October.

The purpose of the day is to raise awareness of the menopause and the support options available for improving health and wellbeing. Menopause can significantly impact a person’s life, putting them through emotional, physical, and mental struggles.

In May 2023, Solo Support Services signed Wellbeing of Women’s Menopause Workplace Pledge. The pledge is a commitment to making Solo a supportive and understanding workplace for all employees going through the menopause, specifically by: recognising that the menopause can be an issue in the workplace and women need support; talking openly, positively, and respectfully about the menopause; actively supporting and informing our employees affected by the menopause.
