Dignity Competition - July 2020

Solo Support Services have run our second annual 'Dignity Arts and Crafts Competition’ in 2020 with a theme of ‘ Dignity’ at the centre through inclusive medium. Our Client Relations Manager Roisin Burton organised and judged the competition and said "We have been truly touched and overwhelmed by the entries received from clients, client's families and Solo staff members alike. There has been a real mixture of art, poetry, model making, photographic collage and mixed media - it has been a wonderful way to celebrate and showcase what peoples thoughts are around ‘Dignity;”. Each entrant will recieve a card expressing our thanks and a form to indicate your preference regarding us sharing your work anonymously. We'd like to share the entries on our website and the Dignity Council's website as well as our social media to further raise awareness of the Dignity Council and the importance of Dignity in Care. The prize winners will all be contacted this week, however, we would like to thank each and every person for their entries, for your inspiring pieces, capturing ‘Dignity’ and taking part in the competition. Roisin went on to say “The Dignity competitions are growing year on year, I would personally like to thank everyone for sharing their individual pieces around what ‘Dignity’ means to them, and how touched we all are to receive such a response from individuals all over the country. Thank you"
