SOLONTR
Support Worker – Part Time
Ref: SOLONTR
Ipswich
Are you looking for a rewarding role where you can make a real difference? I’m a young woman living independently in Ipswich, and I’m looking for enthusiastic and reliable people to join my friendly support team.
I live a busy and active life — I train in Boccia at least once a week and regularly attend competitions, so I’m looking for energetic team members, enjoy being out and about and are happy to travel with me.
I have complex health and care needs, including some clinical tasks, so I need confident, competent support workers who communicate well and can use my equipment safely. You’ll support me with all aspects of daily living, such as personal care, food preparation, medication, moving and handling, transfers, and my Mitrofanoff catheter. Even though I need a high level of support, maintaining my independence and having control over my care is very important to me.
You’ll be guided by my person-centred support plan and welcomed into an established team, so it’s important that you are friendly, adaptable, and able to learn my routines and preferences with initiative and care.
Could you be the right person to join my team?
I’m looking for female drivers aged 25 or over (for insurance purposes) with a clean, full UK driving licence who can drive my vehicle.
The ideal candidate will be:
