Position Title: Personal Assistant Location: Kidderminster Hourly Rate: £13 per hour Hours Per Week: 8 hours per week, plus ad-hoc hours to cover for holidays and sickness Vacancy Type: permanent Job Reference: SOLOPHC ABOUT THE ROLE I am a happy, young 45-year-old gentleman with cerebral Palsy and complex epilepsy which affects my daily living. I have a wonderful team of 8 Personal Assistants who support me 24hours per day to support me to remain living independently in my own home. My team supports me within my home, to access the community and provide overnight support. We are now looking for a new member to join the team to support regular hours as well as covering holidays and sickness. ABOUT YOU You will need to be a calm, bubbly person, flexible and unphased in extreme situations with a kind and happy approach. I require 2:1 support, as well as 1:1 to ensure all of my complex needs are met whilst supporting me with my emotional and wellbeing needs. You will be supported by the team and will get to know my unique set of requirements, covering all personal and medical care, as well as support with daily living & household tasks. I would like for you to get to know me at my own pace. You will be required to get to know myself and the team- through meetings, shadowing, and a bespoke training programme. You will receive all mandatory training and specialised training annually.
