Position Title: Support Worker Location: Oxford OX4 Hourly Rate: £14.30 per hour Hours Per Week: 20 hours per week Vacancy Type: Permanent Job Reference: SOLOCDY ABOUT THE ROLE I am a teenager who enjoys playing on my iPad and games consoles with my brothers. I also enjoy spending time with my carers. I have a lot of complex health issues for which I need support to help me to maintain a healthy lifestyle including a PEG – J a tube and Non-Invasive Ventilation to support my breathing. I can communicate well and have good awareness of my complex needs and the support that I require. It is important to me to build good relationships with my PA’s to ensure that I feel comfortable knowing you will be there to care for me. ABOUT YOU You will be required to assist me with all aspects of my personal care as well as supporting me in the administration of my medication, my moving and handling needs to include all transfers and regular repositioning , my ventilation needs and suctioning as and when required. I am looking for two Support Workers to join my current team. Applicants need to be female to support me with my personal care needs. HOURS The hours are available are 5 hours per day, working every other weekend on a two-week rota: Week 1 – Monday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday Week 2 – Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday.
