ABOUT THE ROLE
I am a little girl born in 2023 with complex health needs. I live at home with my parents and big sister in Worksop. I was born prematurely and was very ill when I was born. As a result, I have complex support needs, including respiratory support, PEG care, medication, seizure care, mobility and communication needs. Currently my care is being provided by my parents, and I require Personal Assistants to allow them some respite time.
I am looking for a team of Personal Assistants with a caring, patient nature who understand my complex needs and as well as getting to know me, helping me to remain happy and safe at home. You will be trained to support with my day to day living needs along with supporting my learning thorough sensory play and physiotherapy.
ABOUT YOU
The ideal candidates will live close to me and me be able to work flexibly, majority of shifts will be Monday to Friday, although some evenings and weekend cover may be required.
Ideally, I would like someone with complex care experience with children, however full comprehensive training will be given.
You will have a genuine caring nature and calming presence and be able to demonstrate a high level of professionalism and integrity respecting my family and their home. You will need to be confident, attentive and willing to learn.
Car drivers with a full, clean driving license are preferred, and candidates must meet the requirements for motor insurance purposes.
