Job Opportunity: Personal Care Assistant (Full-Time / Part-Time)

Location: Arnold, Nottingham

Pay: £13 per hour

Weekly Hours: 30

Shift pattern: Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Personal Care Assistant to support a warm and friendly individual living with Stage 3 Multiple Myeloma and other mobility challenges. This role combines personal care, household support, and companionship in a respectful home environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with personal hygiene and mobility as needed

Manage medication schedules and liaise with healthcare providers

Provide transport to appointments and run errands

Help with light housekeeping and meal preparation

Offer emotional support and companionship

Requirements:

Experience in personal care and medication support

Confident with mobility assistance and personal hygiene tasks

Organised, trustworthy, and attentive to detail

Culturally sensitive, especially towards Afro-Caribbean traditions

Valid UK driving licence

Desirable:

Experience with cancer or chronic illness care

Basic first aid training

Knowledge of local support services
